CEO's Message
   




The community's good health is our focus at Daviess Community Hospital. With this comes the responsibility to be more than simply a provider of health care, but also, to be a vital part of the community we serve.

For 95 years, DCH has served the health care needs of this community. Our dedication is rooted in a community movement that founded the hospital in 1913. A group of Washington citizens, distressed when the lack of medical care forced an injured traveler to recuperate in the local jail, organized an effort to establish a hospital. Two years later, the hospital admitted the first patient.

The dedication of the people of Daviess Community Hospital continues to run deep. Our website illustrates how we are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our community.
