Volunteering at Daviess Community Hospital
The purpose of the Daviess Community Hospital Auxiliary is to promote and advance the welfare of the hospital. Chiefly, this is done by providing volunteer services to patients and guests of the hospital and by fund-raising activities that help the hospital purchase needed equipment for patient care.

The Daviess Community Hospital Auxiliary has been an essential component of the hospital since 1959. Volunteers transport patients in wheelchairs, assist patients and guests in locating services in the hospital, answer phones, and conducts fund-raisers to support patient care equipment purchases.

If you are interested in making a difference and helping Daviess Community Hospital deliver professional care with a personal touch, please contact Mary Smith, Marketing Manager and Volunteer Coordinator for more information.
The Daviess Community Hospital Auxiliary welcomes applications for new volunteers. If you would like to help our patients and guests, we have opportunities for those who can push wheelchairs, answer phones, provide directions, and portray a friendly smile and helping hand.
