The Medical Staff at Daviess Community Hospital recently elected officers for the 2010 year. Jonathan Frances, DO, Obstetrics and Gynecology was elected Chief of the Medical Staff and his practice partner, Michael Baker, DO, Obstetrics and Gynecology was elected Vice Chief of Staff. Amy Campbell, DO, Family Medicine was elected Secretary of the Medial Staff. Also, Suresh Lohano, MD, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Hospitalist, was re-appointed as Chief of the Medicine Department and Daniel McCarthy, MD, Anesthesiology, was appointed as Chief of the Surgery Department.
The hospital’s full Medical Staff meets six times and year and the meeting includes a one-hour CME program that provides physicians with education to enhance their practice skills. Daviess Community Hospital is accredited by the Indiana State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. |
