Wound Care Clinic

The wound center specializes in diagnosing wounds and setting up a team approach toward optimal healing time.  The team approach puts you, the patient, in a position for best outcomes through education on current diagnosis. Our number one priority is to give you, and those who care for you the knowledge and access to achieve best outcomes.  The treatment plan includes one-on-one instruction to family, referrals to home care as appropriate, home bandage delivery when applicable or multiple weekly visits to the wound center if needed.  The wound center accepts any patient with an open wound of any age-acute or chronic. A referral can be obtained from your Primary Care Physician.

Have you had a wound for months that will not heal?

Are you struggling to get shoes on because of swelling and open wounds?

Does pain in your legs and the cost of bandages keep you up at night?

For those who have chronic wounds or lesions that will not heal, Daviess Community Hospital offers expanded services to help you.

The Wound Center specializes in diagnosing wounds and works with the DCH therapists setting up a team approach toward optimal healing time.

The DCH team of doctors has many years of experience in surgery, vascular and wound care. With over 60 years combined experience, our nursing and physical therapy staff have certification in wound care and years of hands on experience with compression wraps and cutting edge treatments.
